This weekend, my small business @shopdordana faces its biggest test.⚡My first time showcasing Dordana in a busy shopping centre at peak season. Great idea, I thought….that was a few months ago. Now the nerves are kicking in!😕I’ve run enough pop-up shops in various locations to know face-to-face events can be tough and “hit and miss”.We’ll be positioned in a prime spot in front of John Lewis, Leeds, during the busiest Christmas weekend.It feels momentous. I’m tentatively optimistic, but I know that traffic does not guarantee custom.❌I worry about being ignored and how I’ll grab attention surrounded by famous brands like Jo Malone, Neom, and John Lewis. And there’s no chair, so I’ll be on my feet engaging (hopefully) all day! 😅Pop-up shops work when location, timing, shoppers, and costs all align. But most of it comes down to YOU.
